Cuy clues in dreamspace

I dreamed of a small creature.

First only a leg, soft and strange, resting in my hands like a forgotten fragment of a story I once lived.

I placed it gently in the fridge, not out of fear, but as if I knew it needed safekeeping.

A dragon was reshaping me in that dream and eating the old parts, quietly, without harm.

The atmosphere was calm, strange and friendly. Like the mountains were watching the transformation and nodding.

A few nights later the animal returned.

Whole. Warm. Alive.

I was holding it against my chest and the moment felt like a celebration.

As if life was saying

Here, this part of you is ready again.

This softness. This instinct. This tiny pulse that once hid so deep.

In the old ways of these lands the cuy is not only food. It is a messenger.

A small healer that carries the whisper of the curanderos, the breath of Pachamama.

It draws heavy energies from the body, reveals what is hidden, cleans what is tangled.

To dream of it is to be seen by the spirits that walk with the healers here.

The ones who work with earth instead of words and who know how to restore what has been scattered.

I see now what these dreams have been showing me.

A piece of my old avoidance surfaced, the part that rises when someone sees me or desires me with a different rhythm than my body can hold. A part that learned long ago to protect my heart from inconsistency. Trying to guess what is happening around me from little clues in the field, feeling the unspoken sorrow.

This instinct has always lived in plain sight.

Quiet. Polite. Protective.

It is not the enemy. It has veen serving me.

Like a guardian that stepped forward when the world once felt unstable.

The fragment I found in the dream was this old limb of protection.

And I treated it with care instead of shame. First time, maybe ever, I was looking at my avoidance with curiosity instead of dread.

The whole living animal was the truth beneath it. My real nature.

The part of me that opens when presence is steady. Longing for connection, but wanting it slow, warm, honest, consistent.

Something real.

In the night the apus often speak in symbols instead of voices.

They place beings in our dreams the way healers place their tools on the mesa.

Nothing random.

Everything intentional.

I feel now that the cuy came as a guide, showing me what is leaving my body and what is returning to it.

The old fear dissolving, the new softness waking.

I understand now.

My heart is not closed.

It is discerning and keeps distance until it knows the ground is steady.

Until the energy does not vanish after rising.

The pace must feel safe for my system to soften. I can trust my rythm.

These dreams were not warnings.

They were blessings.

A small spirit-animal walking between worlds to show me that healing can be gentle, and that what I call avoidance is often just intelligence guiding me back to my center. Take it easy, take it slow, all is good.

Something in me is becoming whole again.

And when that moment comes it will feel like holding a warm, living animal in my hands.

A quiet celebration.

A blessing from the mountains.

A return to my own natural way of loving.
